About This Software What is J.A.C.K.?J.A.C.K. (Just Another Creation Kit; previously known as Jackhammer) is a brand new level editor for games with a Quake-style BSP architecture. The aim is to develop a convenient cross-platform tool capable of incorporating the best features of existing editors, such as Valve Hammer Editor, Q3Radiant and others. Despite Quake and Half-Life having been released a long time ago, the large community have arisen around, still developing mods and games on their bases. However the existing editors suffer from fundamental disadvantages their users are well familiar with. J.A.C.K. does aspire to be the universal level design tool for classic games. But not only the classics! The editor evolves, there are plans to support Source Engine and Unity.Supported GamesHalf-Life (including mods and Gunman Chronicles)Quake (including mods and some Quake-based games, e.g. Hexen II)Quake II (including mods)Quake III (including mods and idTech3 based games, e.g. Tremulous)Main FeaturesCross-Platform Editing: the editor is available both for Windows and Linux users. Large memory addressing support: 64-bit version of the editor overcomes the 2 Gb available memory limit.Large Map Support: you can create and edit levels with dimensions up to 262144 х 262144 units.Extensibility: the editor supports plugins to extend its abilities.Multiple Game Formats Support: preview models and sprites of different games, open different map formats, from MAP to VMF.Realtime Texture Effects: support of transparency, texture animation and scrolling, and Quake III shader scripts greatly enhance perception during the development stage.Embedded Shader Editor: now the process of creation of shaders for Quake III and idTech3 based games becomes delightful!Curved surfaces: the editor supports curved surfaces (patches) used in idTech3 based games.Dynamic Sky Rendition: the editor renders skyboxes in the same way games do.Color Schemes: the editor's look-and-feel can be easily customized.Autosave & SteamCloud: configure autosave and cloud save functions to protect your project from editor crashes and own design errors.Additional Instruments: brush merging, triangulation, UV-Lock, multiple visgroups, model rendition in 2D viewports, automatic selection in 3D, preservation of internal connections, and many more...There is a full list of features on the official editor's web page. 6d5b4406ea Title: J.A.C.K.Genre: Animation & Modeling, Design & Illustration, UtilitiesDeveloper:Crystice SoftworksPublisher:Crystice SoftworksRelease Date: 15 Dec, 2016 J.A.C.K. Keygen Generator Pretty crappy, buggy and uncomfortable. If you want to create a map for GoldSrc, I recommend you to use VHE 3.5.3 by Yo Den.. I cannot recommend this more for map makers of all experience. The steam edition removes the requirement to configure the editor for different games yourself, thus removing the hard and boring bits. The map editor is very simular to the hammer editor but with added perks (like being able to change the colours of the work space and other elements). Worth every penny. Plus you will probably recieve a foil card on using it which you can go and list for £100 or something on the market because no one has it.... This editor is awsome!you can see 3D models and the skybox textures while in the editor!and when selecting brush type you can even create spheres! The only things I see that I think it should have are(1) the ability to use Prefabs like in Hammer(2) and the ability to use the clippy tool accrose multiple axises like in Penguinboy's Slege editor.instead of painfully working with hammer you you should buy this editor the workflow is so much better and the money helps the devs further develop to make it better. ps how the hell do you do all the crazy vertex stuff, does it even compile right?. What is ♥♥♥♥? Why does it show error: "no texture format supported" under Ubuntu 18.04 Please stop lie me!https://i.imgur.com/W2BJXE4.pngPlease say serious me! Because I am furry German to bad Russian. PLEASE TELL ME CORRECT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH BAD ERRORS of JackHammer. I've been playing around with the application's features, I feel very comfy with the tool since I've been using it for years now, but there are some things that bothers me, the main being the performance of the toolI'm using around 20.000 textures compressed in 3 wads, the application freezes for 1-2 seconds every time I go or leave texture application even though i have a workstation with quad xeon and 16 gb ramIssues ->1. the application crashing on selecting proprieties for entities under various conditions ( happened once )2. error "bad file header" when trying to open a previous project ( happened once )3. add proper default value on fx amount when using solid/additive/transparent rendering ( default now is 0 which renders entities invisible by default )4. low performance while browsing the textures on search mode5. low performance when accessing the texture application tool and after when selecting brushes Suggestions ->1. the possibility to save textures as favorites ( just like on sledge )2. a function to save all the used textures before optimizing ( applying null textures to not visible faces )3. a more nice looking UI. I was alittle uncertain if it was worth it, since hammer editor 3.5 is still easy available. For the most part i have been making maps for cs 1.6 for a long time, so my knowledge of valves editor was quite good.As i where beginning to use more complex commands i really needed something updated. I had heard of jackhammer and decided to give this J.A.C.K a try. and ohman is it nice.Smooth running, similar interface and very important.Extended problem searching/fixing, making it very easy for me to get the maps out.Well worth the money.A+++. its great. no need to add more.
